1995 -- 1996

Chad Boudreaux (112 pounds) made Rummel history by winning the LHSAA Division I State High School Wrestling Championship for the second time.  Pat Ritchie  was the 103 pound State Champion.  Brian Seghers at 119 pounds was the State Runner-Up in his division.  Taking 3rd place in the state were 135 pound Todd Gilreth and J.P. Pierre at 152 pounds.

The Annual Archbishop Rummel Alumni, Inc. Fishing Rodeo was held for the first time in 1995.  Proceeds from this event support the Rummel Endowment Trust Fund which provides for student scholarships.

The Genesian Players produced Charley's Aunt, Shadow Box, and Little Shop of Horrors during the academic year.
