At North Robertson and Press Streets, the "fireproof"
brewery (five-stories of steel and concrete) sold its first kegs in 1912. It was later known as Union Beverage
Company during Prohibition (1919-1927) and Union Products Company, Inc. (1927-1936). The brewery closed in 1939.
