Bergeron's Boudin & Cajun Meats -- Port Allen (November, 2006)

Best cracklin' I ever had --  a perfect proportion of fat to crunch with the fat rendered into buttery smoothness. Wonderful crawfish stuffed boneless chickens.   Excellent meat pies.  They make a good smoked jerky and andouille.  Also offer stuffed pork, marinated beef, and other goodies.  So-so boudin and boudin balls.  Good weekday plate lunches.  I'm not completely convinced that Port Allen qualifies as Cajun Country but Bergeron's has some good stuff.  The following photographs don't do it justice.
